Hey, So I may just be dense but here is my problem. I have a new file share desktop with Windows 7 and 6 workstations running XP. I have a client program I am running on the XP machines that require access to a data file on the Win7 machine. I have mapped a network drive to the the data folder and I can get to it from the XP machine without issue. When I run the client and try to access the Data file it say "File Not Found". I have tried everything. I even have the folder shared out to "Everyone".

    Any ideas?

    Thanks...

Its a client program issue if it maps and the OS can get to the share fine.

Is it possible it uses a different port? In which case, check your firewall.

I think I may just disable the firewall all together. It is all internal so no need really. Thanks..
