    Hi,

Ive got a Gateway nx570x laptop with Windows Media Center 2005 on it, that I recently restored from the recovery partition. The problem is, it doesnt boot to Windows unless I have the recovery disk in. With out the disk, it just hangs at a black screen with a flashing cursor after the BIOS splash screen. With the CD in the drive, it asks you to hit 'R' for recovery options, and from there I hit 'Q' to quit and boot OS from main hard drive, which get's get me in everytime. Any one know of a way to fix this, or heard of this happening to anyone else? Things ive tried are, downloading and installing different chipset/ahci drivers, setting the main boot order to hard drive first, setting BIOS to default settings. The BIOS has no option for SATA or IDE. Any help would be aprreciated. Thank you.
