Windows xp notifications

How do i turn or delete the windows genuine message that appears when I start my pc and the pop ups saying my win xp isn't genuine. Im sick of being reminded that ive been ripped off buy the 'del boy' who sold me the pc. There are loads of window updates in my 'Add and Remove' with numbers at the side of them but which one is to stop the notifications?

BUT.. you will have to turn off Auto Updates in your System Properties and only manually ( Custom ) update via http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us and untick the WGA hotfix update each time you need to update as it will be installed each time and remember to update.. I dont have any idea on a timescale for this WGA notification becoming a requirement to get updates as it will come one day, then you will ahve to buy a legit version to gain updates.

or as your were unawares of the no legit windows version on the PC you bought, you can if you supply the retailers name and business address to MS, you maybe eligable for a free real licence key http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#Question6Label under the Genuine Windows Offer.

or buy a legit copy.

ive looked into getting one from that site, but because i bought my pc second hand (i didnt realise you had to buy the win xp to install, i assumed they already had the software on) i cant provide an address nor reciept, (over 4 months ago that i purchased this and weve moved home since then, i cant find it).
