Had a Dell DT with Windows XP Pro. Needed os repair. Slipstreamed OS back onto the unit.

Boots fine. all user accounts seem to be working.
However, no matter what you RIGHT click on, like a file, a shortcut, the recycle bin, the unit tries to run the windows installer and it is looking for a file on the customer client server. It has something to do with Norton.

    what actually happens is this:
let's say you click on recycle bin to empty.
the dialog pops up >windows installer > preparing to install
the drop box has the customers domain\VPHOME\CLT-INST\WIN32\

all you have to do is click on the box and it goes away.

any clue how to make this stop happening.
