I have got a curious problem. In Services (Start>Run>services.msc), the left window explains the individual services as stated in the right window. The text in the right window is normal and clear, but in the left window the letters are very small and dim thus can be hardly read. Services as such work well. I would be happy for any advice that can normalize the left window. Thank you and kind regards,

You can always open the properties of a service and read it from that window.

The problem itself I've never heard of before though. I would guess that you have installed some sort of custom skinning application and are using it to skin windows. If that's the case I'd suggest turing that off and see if it works. If it does check the skinng apps site for help with the issue.
