Reinstalling XP, because of viruses and WGA. :( But the install program tells me that no hard disks are installed and that it cannot continue. I have an Abit KN9 motherboard with MCP55 chipset. I've heard problems can happen with this set up. I can't remember how I installed it last time, which is going to really bug me. Any ideas?

Are your drives SATA? Do you hit the F6 key during set up to install the Sata drivers? What is reported in your bios? Does it recognize the drive in the bios??

I fixed it by nLiting Nvidia chipset drivers with my setup. This is my first experience with nLite and now I realise I need more than one Windows PC. (My other computers all run Ubuntu.)
