I recently set my computer back with system restore and now I can get onto my computer.I can get to the screen where it shows safe mode and the other settings but it freezes there, and sometimes it makes it past there but the screen is blank with a cursor in the top left side.If anyone can help please let me know??

Omega: Have you tried doing a repair off your XP disk? You may have lost some files XP needs to start, so I would give that a try. Just put the XP disk and, power down, restart, and do a repair from the CD. Hope that works for you.
