    hello everyone.

the family computer here at my house has been suffering these stop errors for quite a while now. I've been looking around for some information, trying to see if I could resolve it myself, but as I understand it, these errors are kind of broad-sweeping. so here's what it says in my System Event Viewer:

    Error code 10000050, parameter1 f16cf000, parameter2 00000001, parameter3 f76755d5, parameter4 00000000.

also, the blue screen pointed to the file Ntfs.sys. I'm guessing that's "NTFS" as in the file system. does this mean my hard drive is on its way out?

I did a fresh install of WinXP a few months ago when I couldn't find any other solution... that doesn't seem to have killed the monster.

EDIT: I don't use the computer as often as the rest of my family, and they're not very tech-oriented, but they tell me that these errors seem to happen only while using Mozilla Firefox.

thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

    JiNxX
