   I just purchased a new computer. It has windows Vista on it. Will I have a hard time copying files from xp to Vista or do I have to start anew.

   What type of files are you talking about?
   Documents, pictures, music, movies, etc are not a problem unless they are being used by a very spesific program that is not compatible with Vista.
