Windows XP Update (KB967715)

How do I keep this update from looping? It always comes back after I run it.:confused Whovian33

 

does it say "installation successful" after you run windows update?

 

Yes it does, but it still loops back. Don't know why. Suggestions?:confused

 

According to MS, this means that some AutoRun programs were not fully installed or removed.

Umm, hrlow2:
I tried your link earlier today and it didn't work, BUT I used the Microsoft search engine to find the update number. Then I had to do an alternate validation with my XP. Then if it happens that way, you must do a MANUAL restart then the update quits looping. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, hrlow2. Whovian33
