windows xp upgrade help

    I have service pack 1 and want to upgrade to sp2 and it says my copy is not genuine and i need to buy a copy of genuine windows before i can do so, does anybody know how i can upgrade without buying it, much appreciated.

    Sorry, no. If your copy is not legit, then you need to buy a legal copy of Windows XP.

    We cannot give you any other answer on this forum.

    If you know those folks, ask them........ mentioned earlier by Adrynadyne, we will not assist you in this as you need to have a legitimate copy to allow upgrade to SP2, sorry.
