    I`m trying to find out how to delete windows I want to take it out and reinstall

    Happy New Year... Thank you for your help. yes I got a stupid bug in there that I couldn`t get rid of. I don`t know alot about comp. but have learned alot. My father inlaw usaully just took windowa out and put it back in when this happened in the past. I couldn`t remember how to do it. Your info. helped alot thank-you.

    If you have a bug in there, you could try visiting the Malware forum. They're usually pretty good at fixing bugs. (as in viruses and other sorts of malware)

    If you are really going to format just pop the XP cd into your CD-ROM drive then restart. You might have to set the boot order in the BIOS, but usually it will boot by itself. When you get to the part where the CD asks you where you want to install your XP, just select the partition where XP used to be installed and hit delete. Then you format the unallocated space and it becomes a new partition on which you can install your stuff.
