   How can I change/remove the admin account.
   
   I do have acess to the admin account.
   
   It's just a "pain on the ***" to have to log on as the admin to add/remove programs etc.

   I run windows 2000 Pro and do not have to log in under "admin" if I want to add/remove programs. My user account has admin privileges.
   If your normal user account doesn't have admin privileges then there is no getting around having to login as an admin to do certain things.
   
   How is your normal account set up? How many accounts on the computer (aside from the admin one)?
