    Hi-

Lately when I try shutting down my Gateway laptop, the shut down is very slow, and a dialogue box appears indicating that WindowsFormParkingWindow is closing. I ususally hit the "close now" button, but I'm curious as to what this is, and why it's running in the background, and how I can make it stop.

    Thanks--

    Hi Chad,

Do you have a HP printer and HP Image Zone installed?

If so, uninstall it and reinstall. Or, you can look in your startup list for a file named hpqthb08.exe and uncheck it. Restart your computer and shutdown, see if that stops the box.

Go to Start > Run > type msconfig > click on the Startup tab and look for the process hpqthb08.exe

    Let us know.

    Hi Steve,

I do have an HP printer and HP Image Zone installed.

I'll take your advice here <<<Go to Start > Run > type msconfig > click on the Startup tab and look for the process hpqthb08.exe>>> and will let you know how it goes.

    Thanks and Sincerely,

    chad-roscoe
