WinInstaller / Norton AV msgbox issue

Hi
I get a couple of message boxes when starting up WinXP & also when opening applications like MS Outlook.

Its preceded by Windows msgbox "Preparing to Install windows Installer".
Then Norton AV msgbox "Please wait while Windows configures Norton AV 2005"
Then Norton AV msgbox with warning sign "Norton AV 2005 does not support the Repair feature, please uninstall & reinstall" & "OK" button.
This doesn't seem to impact performance / use but do i need to reinstall Norton AV?
