Winload error

Have Raid setup with Vista Ultra,I have installed another HD and patitioned to load XP.The problem now is that I have a load error on Vista. Tried Repair with Vista disc but it cannot Repair but I have the error report, as I can access Command Prompt and knowing the Drive letter (E) is there a dos command that will recitify the boot system, Error report is ....................

\Windows\System32\winload.exe ....

I know I can do a Total Repair by a Repair\Reinstall but am trying to shy away from this action. I have now unhooked the Samsung. Also The Striped Array is still intact.

Raid is 2 Seagate Baracuda 250 Gig

New drive 750GB Samsung Sata11 (50 gig partition)
