I want to register WinMount so I can mount larger and multiple archive files. How do I do that?

I have an issue with WinMount and floppies; if the archive file fits on a floppy but not the temporary file, I can't modify the file. I have a solution: a batch file that copies the archive file to a temporary folder on the hard drive and mounts it from there then, when I'm done, copies the new file back to the original location. I can publish the file here if anybody wants. :)

I suggest you forget about WinMount, it hasn't been updated in 10 years! I think you will find you can open most things in Win 10, no assistance needed

Can Win10 treat a .zip file as a drive?

Not directly as the normal usage is to extract the zip to a folder. I hesitate to ask why you want to create a drive.

Well...I use WinMount on archive files so I can keep the data compressed while accessing it. I don't need it for flash drive-based data but do for CD- and floppy-based data.
