WinPatrol ALERT

:major In the last few days it appears as though WinPatrol is altering its concept of availability. The website interface has completely changed. Please visit the website soon, (link below), if you are a WinPatrol user, or plan to be, to determine how you personally wish to proceed with the software in the future. "I think" that April 1st is possibly a deadline. The date and free subscription issue is kind of unclear; yet a little bit of studying, once on the page, seems to make things a little clearer.

That is a notice of the one-time fee for a "Plus" version will be switched to an annual subscription fee as of a specific date.

Same thing as Malwarebytes did with their free and pro versions of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware a while back.

 

Yes. Thanks. I saw all of that; but still the same, just a little jumbled in regards to the wording that is supposed to spell out everything.

 

Slightly off-topic...
Dekade, have a look at the free Autoruns from Microsoft. While it wont alert* you about anything, it does provide considerably more info than WinPatrol Free. Don't get a fright :eek when you see what's really happening on your PC.

*WinPatrol did not alert me when Bluestacks started even though I disabled the startup of 2 processes.
