winrar or other extraction for rar

    I just dl and installed winrar 3.51 and i am having problems with it. I had older versions before and never had a problem. Is there anywhere I can find a safe version to redownload and install. If not I may have to switch to something else and in that case can anyone recommend another Quality RAR Extractor (since I don't really use the software for compression).

    You could download alzip i've had no problems with it and it's free for home use you can get it from http://www.altools.net/

    Yes I have used it on occasion for older versions of apps, not recieved any spyware or virii, from their downloads.

    I've used oldversion.com once in a while, I've had no problems with it.

    Yep, worked fine for everything I've downloaded from there, no issues.
