WinXP Home repair install issue

I have a screen shot below of the error I'm getting.... I boot to the XP disc and proceed to perform a repair install as I've done 1000s of times in the past. It goes normally thru the part where you have the yellow progress bar and files are copying from the CD to the hard drive, with a blue screen and white letters. That finishes and is immediately followed by the error:
"Setup cannot set the required Windows XP configuration information. This indicates an internal Setup error.
Contact your system administrator."

I figured I'd type it out since the screen shot is so bad :-o
