WinXP Repair Error

    I really need help on this. I am doing a WinXP repair install on a computer and I keep getting an error during installation. Here is the error:

    The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x6976db5f, i searched google with no luck

    Is there anyway to stop this computer from trying to repair the Windows XP and just boot it up normally? Sort of like a system restore?
