WinXP restore

    I had set a couple of restore points last year (Dec 2006) and now I cant seem to access them. The "calender" wont scroll back to 2006.

    Any ideas why?

    Restore points more than 90 days old are automatically purged by default.

    how can I make restore points permanant or even extend the purge time ?
    i dont see that option on the systenm restore dialog. i can turn it off or increase the disk space usage but thats it

    Alternately- can i back up restore points on disk?

    i'd recomend true image. Several years ago Norton Ghost was a really very good backup prog, but now it's not... It's not only my opinion, read here more.
