WinXP Service Pack 3 = any known issues?

    I did try the earlier one from Dec.11 v.3205 and explorer started locking up for up to a minute, just downloading the new one now. I'll let you know how it goes. Of course the issue could be totally unrelated to SP3 but it's not locking up on me anymore.

    Hi Port-O-San

    Its still a beta release at present, so not really advisable to install on a production or only home PC, unless you have adequate backups or know the risks in using beta/un-finalized software.


    Their are not many new additions at all, well nothing really for the home user as its predominently a stability Service Pack, main items it adds that are new to XP are in Networking.
