    I went to bootdisk to set up a bootable disk for XP. After you create the six disks then what?

    You boot to disk 1 and follow the on screen prompts. BUT- hopefully you read everything 'cuz you'll still need a WinXP CD and CD drive to complete the installation. The boot floppies are only used if your CDROM isn't booting properly or if the BIOS doesn't provide the choice to boot from CD (some older laptop BIOS's are that way). The floppies DO NOT provide a way to install XP without the CD...
