Ok, I searched the site for info on this, but couldn't find anything (say, is that one fellow still killin' kitties for every time a search wasn't done???)

I want to use Winzip 9 in a batch file to do some automated zipping of My Documents and my Favorites. Where the hek does Windows have the Favorites stored?

Finally, anyone ever done this kind of stuff before (using Winzip in a batch file process)?

    Thanks very much,

    Starkman

Yes, running batch compression jobs is very common. I've done it many times. It's quite easy and works fine. Although it's been ages sine I've done a batch zip job as I usually use rar now a days. I used to do zip with pkzip many years ago though.

Well, I think I found them (the favorites), but for the life of me, I've couldn't get the suckers to show up under a command prompt C:\windows\favorites. There there, alright!

    Thanks,
