Wiping a Computer

    How can I wipe a computer that wont boot from the cd and the floopy? :confused:

    first off u do need to be more specfic but do u have a cdrom installed if so make sure the jumpers are right if that dont work still go into your bios make sure they are there or thier enabled if that dont fix it im sure there is a dos command im pretty sure u open up dos and type in format but y u would want to format a hd on a computer that has no floppy or cd rom drive is beyond me but hey i gave my advise and if that dont work get another hd heck there cheap now a days 80gb for 64.99 not bad

    I assume you are trying to wipe a hard drive before selling your PC.

    A better idea is to sell/donate it, without the hard drive. Keep the hard drive for backup, mp3's, photos, music tracks, or whatever. Bazza
