    I have a laptop and a tower both have xp. The tower uses a lynksys router for internet connection and the laptop has wireless device that picks up the lynksys signal. I would like to print stuff from my laptop to the printer that is connected to my tower. Can anyone tell me how?

    On the tower ...start / printer & faxes / right click the printer and click sharing...follow prompts.
    On laptop ....start / printers & faxes / add printer ..click networked printer ...follow the prompts.

    You need to enter the network name of the computer the printer is attached to.

    To find out this, go to the computer the printer is attached to, right click on my computer, go to Computer Net. It should have it listed there as Full Computer Name.

    You can also connect to the shared printer by doing this:

    Start->Run
    Type the network name you found earlier, prefixed by \\
    Press OK.
    You should get a window up which has a folder called Printers and Faxes. Double click on this.
    You should see your printer listed. Right click and click on connect to printer.
