    Hi

I'm currently running W7 64bit via a wireless connection. The wireless adapter I'm using is a Realtek RTL8190 802.11n. I was having problems uploading anything to the internet over the last 2 nights since changing my ISP and getting a new router with my package. I tried IE9 and Chrome with no luck.

After spening over an hour and a half on the phone to my ISP, I gave up and have managed to sort the upload problems myself. However, I've had to change the settings on my wireless adapter from 802.11 b/g/n to 802.11 b/g

My new router is the Technicolor tg582n Pro which says can use wireless 'n'.

Does anyone have any ideas why I can't set my adapter to use 'n' with this router? I've searched the net looking for compatability issues but anything I find says my adapter should work with this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I searched for a manual but there is nothing with much information available. The "manual" is 8 pages and looks more like a sales folder than giving usable information.

Thanks, yeah I seen that myself. It's not a big problem I know but if it's supposedly 'n' enabled I thought I'd try and make use of it.
