    Hello All -

Have a Laptop running Win XP Pro w/builtin b/g wireless. Was working. Stopped working. shows no wireless netw available even if next to a properly working wifi router. Uninstalled and allowed XP to reinstall. Now tried to disable the adapter and got this message...
"It is not possible to disable the conn at this time. It may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug n play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account".

    Can you help?

    Thx,
    Acktom

You may be able to disable it from safe mode.
as far as getting it connected..., seems like you know what you're doing..., so it's probably hardware issue? Did you try installing manufacturer's driver, instead of MS's?
