wireless booster

    i have a linksys 802.11g w/ speedbooster :)rolleyes: ) router in my basement. lately iv been having some issues with my XP machine trying to find a signal on the second floor of my house. now are there any sort of signal boosters that actually are proven and work? i just ask because this would be alot easier than the alternative of rewiring the router so that its on the first floor of the house
