Wireless booster

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-k25

well anyway..i connect through other peoples wireless connection..and its a bad connection and i found at best buy a wireless signal booster..

..if u wanna look at it..

well would it work for my computer?..would i get a better signal..and i dont know if the adapter they have is a linksys..soo i dont know if these expander only works for linksys adapters..

Yeah...its my best friends signal i use most of the time

 

As long as it's the same wireless frequency and uses compatible wireless standards, it will work.

Might want to try a high gain antenna, might be cheaper.

I have even seen plans to make them out of pringles cans for real cheap!!

 

In response to my last post, I didnt notice that you have a laptop.

I'm not sure you can put an external antenna on a laptop.
