    Hi,
My sons PC is freezing every 5 minutes or so when he surfs the net.He has to reboot each time. All was fine until we went BBand a week or so ago.He has a wireless card with the latest drivers.Hes been playing FarCry 2 for a couple of hours offline with no problems. He did this yesterday as well and as soon as he tries to open or close a window on the web it freezes the screen. He may get 5 minutes or so on the web before he reboots it.We have done Malwarebytes and Virus scans used different mice, keyboards and even swapped Ram but nothing works.

Any help would be very appreciated.
    Thanks
    Mark.

    ......Breaking News......

As its turned out, the message in the event viewer regarding the Service control manager is not related to the freeze. That error message only occurs after I reboot my PC after the freeze. Doesnt affect the performance of the PC at all,its just giving us a error message.
When I reboot the PC the error log is created. Therefore, I am no more the wiser as to what the freeze is, as the event viewer is not saying anything at all.

So I have a PC freezing when we surf the net through a wireless card. When we had dial up there was no problem.

    Any solutions?
    Thanks again
    Mark.

I have a TP link550g card and Dynalink 1025W router modem.

Both Pcs are running XP SP3.Ive been watching this closely and if I load a page like a news article from Yahoo home page and as it loads I try to minimise the window it freezes.Does it every time.Ive checked this 15 times and it freezes every time i do it.
Ive tried it with firefox browser and the same thing happens.

What do u think is the problem?
