I have a Thinkpad T43 that came without a wireless card. Can I install one of the newer half mini PCI cards in this, or do I need to search out a miniPCI? Lenovo wants $151 for a card, which seems outrageous when the others go for $25.

IBM has the same thing, They want you to use cards they have tested with the machine. There is a bios fix that I have used that allows the use of "Unauthorized WIFI Controlers".

If you want the fix, PM me if you can or you can contact me through my home page.

The T43 requires the old style miniPCI.
