Okay... so here is my issue. Dell support sucks and I was on hold for an hour before giving up.

My laptop (on a friends) says that my wireless is connected but I can not load any page (not even my 192 one). I went to the cmd and the weird thing is that it is returning a ping when I send ping www.yahoo.com.

    ipconfig/all returns this information.

    Windows IP Configuration:

    Host Name: Winnie21
    Primary Dns Suffix:
    Node Type: Hybrid
    IP Routing Enabled: No
    WINS Proxy Enabled: No

    Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

    Media State: Media Disconnected
Description: Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
    Physical Address: 00-12-3F-DB-AB-01

    Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection:

    Connection-specific DNS suffix:
    Description: Intel<R> PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network COnnection
    Physical Address: 00-12-F0-AB-AB-E2
    Dhcp Enabled: Yes
    Autoconfiguration Enabled: Yes
    IP Address: 192.168.0.105
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
    DHCP Server: 192.168.0.1
    DNS Sever: 192.168.0.1

    Help?

"Failed to Connect" not page or site not found?

    Says this.

    Failed to Connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.0.1

    Same deal.

Frustrating. Everything was working fine until the other day.

Is the machine you are now connecting with on the same network?

Yep. I thought it might be my own network/router or something so I am trying it at another place. They are both on the same network.

I do. Give me a moment though. Have to switch off this laptop.

We tried communicating to another server via FTP with no success "Failed Connection".

I then had them download and run the Winsock XP Fix with no success.
