   I am in university accommodation and the only internet output in the room is for an ethernet cable to a laptop...
   
   The provider is Ask 4 internet and I followed their set up guide for wireless on their website although this didn't work and they do not provide support for third party routers; mine being a Netgear DG834GT...
   
   Any help would be much appreciated.
