    I use WIN XP.
I travel a lot by RV and when I get into RV parks there are often times a number of other campers with satellite internet connections that do not secure them as they don’t mind neighbors sharing their connection with those that don’t have internet service In their RV’s.
Sometimes I will have a number of networks showing on the list available networks, some secured and some not all in varying degrees of strength.
There are times when I try the unsecured ones and get right on. Other times I’m not able to connect to them.
I have noticed some say “Automatic” while others are labeled “On Demand”. I don’t know what the difference is, but neither work.
    Does anybody know why?
    Thanks
    Floyd

    Hi

Automatic ~ will connect as soon as your in a good signal distance, especially if you have this saved as a managed network.
On-Demand ~ will only connect if you click connect on the SSID ( network name ) for that network.

Reason some may not connect is that you may have interferenece or a patchy signal, what sort of signal strenght are these ones that dont seem to connect at?
