I turned on my laptop this morning and found that I had 'Limited or No Connectivity' on the wireless internet connection. The problem is that everything has been working well until today and that I am able to connect to the internet perfectly on the desktop PC.

When I tried to diagnose the problem I get a message telling me that it cannot renew my IP address so am a bit stuck. Can anyone give me some advice?

Go to the command line - Start, Run (or Run as administrator), type in "cmd" without the ". Then do the following 2 commands - ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew. Then exit to get out of the command line. This manually renews your ip address.

Thank you. That's done the trick. :)
