Wireless issue

    Hola! :)
    I have an older computer ( I think it is working on XP) and I don't do much on it, just surf a bit and listen to pods casts while working.
    Friday, it was fine and happy. I went to boot it up Monday morning and the wireless conection is messed up.
    I have a little thingy (technical term, I know!) plugged into a USB port and I have had no issues with it since I got it about 2-3 months ago.

    It shows that it is getting a signal from the box....so from the wireless device to the webbrowser, something is messed up and I am clueless. I am an accountant! not a computer tech! Help me please?!?! :cry

    What specifically are you having problems with? Does it connect to your router, or are you connecting off of a router not in your building?

    The Wireless adapter (labeled as the wireless utility in the startup tray) is getting the signal from the router, but the wireless network connetion says limited or connectivity. In the startup tray, it as an exclaimation point saying that there is an issue.
    I don't know what happened because it was working fine Friday and then this showed up when I booted up the computer Monday morning.
    The signal is coming from my ATT box here in the house.

    oops, limited or no connectivity.
    It is just a wireless adapter plugged into a USB port.
    It has been working great! no drops or anything.
    Like i said, in the startup tray, the Wireless Utility Link Quality is 99%, Signal Strength is 92%. Next to it in the Startup Tray is the Wireless Network Connection 7, it says that the signal strength is excellent but Status: Limited or no Connectivity.
    Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it?

    okay, my daughter came home from college and her laptop wouldn't connect either; we reset the router and it seems to be working now.
    See, there is a reason I am an accountant! TY! : )
