    Hi all,
Me and my bro are trying to LAN in Counter-Strike together, I.E connecting to the same internet server. I run a Linksys WRT54GS Speedbooster Router (G). So when me and another computer connects to a counter-strike server i see a huge ping increase to around to 200-300's. Me and my bro cannot play counter-strike at the same time together because of it, we have different CD keys by the way.

I have gotten a lot of different input with the situation, I have tried QoS and opening ports. There was one suggestion i heard that had to do with packet collision, but i've been told by someone that this shouldnt happen with a router.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this problem please help me out
    Thanks yall

Wireless runs half (or less) the speed of wired .... then when you are both on at the same time, it's halved again. Try wiring direct with both and see what it's speed is.:)
