I have a student who has a wirless Toshiba laptop. When he turns it on the other wireless systems and wired system (Laptop(wireless) and 2 PS3 consoles (one wired), and XBox (wired)) get knocked off the network and the Toshiba will not get connected. Like the router does not work. When we disconnect the laptop the other devices get back on. Any suggestions please?
The router is a Linksys WRT110

    Hi Misslemike,

within the wireless settings of the router, try setting the

    802.11 mode: to use 802.11 G only

in the wireless security mode set it to use

    WPA-Personal

In the WPA section, set it to

    WPA2 only
    AES

    for best performance.

On the toshiba, go the the network connection/properties/wireless properties button and verify WPA2 personal and AES is set.
