Wireless - media disconnected

Okay so I am not very computer savy and am having trouble hooking my
Laptop up to the wifi. It was working fine until it got plugged into the router directly from an Ethernet cord one day an now it won't pick the wifi up at all. Every other Internet using device in the house does fine on the wifi. I did some research an think it might be my wireless IP address because when I run cmd for ipconfig it keeps sayin media disconnected under anything wireless ?

 

A lot of laptops have a small switch to turn the Wireless on and off, Have you check to see if the Wireless is turned on.

 

There is normally a key combination which turns the wireless LAN detection of Laptop on or off. Check that. If you are having the drivers problem, connect the computer with ethernet cable, open the computer management, then device manager and then update the wireless LAN drivers from there. Choose the option of automatic searching and installation of drivers.
