I run Vista Home Premium, 4GB ram, on an HP Pavillion lap top.

In ending some services, I likely stopped on allowing my wireless mouse to be recognized and run. I'm hoping someone can tell me which, to avoid long trial & error. Thanks.

Have you restarted your computer since this happened? Did you permanently stop some services? Which ones?

Yes. Restarting it did seem to make a difference. I modified several, and am unsure which. My hope was that there were 1-2 typically associated with such devices.

So, is it working OK now?

Ooops. I said it wrong... it made no difference. Ray

Checkout Blackviper for services information, the default Vista SP2 services registry files (for setting back to default) are available here, read the whole page first.
