Background : I have a microsoft Broadband networking Wireless-g MN820. Two desktops are connected along with one laptop. The laptop uses the wireless adapter with no problem. All workgroups are set with the same name. My husband has a laptop which he brings home from work and, until I reformated my computer was able to at least connect to the internet.
Problem. Now that I have reformated my computer all is working great except for my husbands computer. His computer show limited or not connections.

Software used on my systems at home are Norton internet security and the broadband networking. My husbands laptop has Intel Proset for wireless. From his laptop I am able to click on the nteworks tab and scan for available networks. My home network shows up in the list. The profile for this network has the security setting to 802.1x Enabled. I need to be able to have his machine connect through my wireless at home to access the internet and printers.
    What am I missing?

disable the IEEE authentication. Make sure if you're running WEP ro WAP on the router that your machines Wi-Fi configuration reflects the same WEP or WAP key.

OK, That worked. I can now connect the laptop to my network to access the internet. I would like to also be able to have this machine access the printers on my network but the laptop does not see the machines. Is this just because the workgroup is different. I will not be able to change the name of the workgroup on his machine as it is for work. If there a way that I can grant his machine only access to my network and still block all others from accessing my network?

Sorry, the work machine can now connect to other machines on my network except the main server. I have checked the security and permissions and all appears to be fine. Why can this work laptop, or any of my other machines connect to this main server?

You should be able to browse for printer across workgroups.
To deny access to all but your husbands laptop, apply a MAC filter to the routers security configuration. The MAC filter requires the MAC address of the NETWORK CARD that will connect to the wireless network.
