I have been searching and haven't foudn a problem like mine. I have a linksys 2.4 GhZ router and have 2 computers hardwired to it. I recently added a laptop and use the wireless connection. From tmie to time I lose connection and get teh dreaded "limited or no connectivity." When I look at my wireless networks form the laptop it still shows a strong signal just with the nasty message. After few minutes it will return to normal. ALways just befoer it returns to normal it reconencts for about 10 seconds then disconnects again adn then reconects. Does anyone know what this might be or what i should do?

its because of the dhcp server of the router, maybe from time to time the signal gets lost and ur computer looses his ip so that's why the limited or no conectivity

I can't see DHCP being an issue, wireless does not rely on an IP to have a radio signal. I would check for known bugs and updated drivers, or if you have a wireless phone that happens to be in use when this happens. Most new phones also run at 2.4Ghz, its real common for this to interupt your connection and go not noticed because you just take for granted its a phone so it cant interupt my network. Just some thoughts...

My current plan is to go to a coffee shop with wifi and see if I can keep my signal there; this should tell me if it is card issue or a router issue. My drivers are up to date and I have looked at the "known bugs" at least the ones I could find. I have pretty much eliminated my phone as a source of interference, buy maybe my neighbor's phone? the problem does seem to be worse in the evening.

have you tried disabling Wireless Zero Configuration in the services menu once you have connected to your network? I had a problem with using Skype on my laptop which is connected to my pc via a wireless connection that allows me to share my high speed connection. Every minute or two the connection would drop, (really annoying in the middle of a call), but now i just disable Wireless Zero and it runs OK.

WZC was, I beleive, designed so that every few minutes your connection would teminate for a millisecond and search for a stronger signal, normally you wouldnt even notice it had happened but if your using voip or gaming online it can be a real pain
