I have a wireless network set and all of a sudden have been having problems with it. We have three to 5 wireless devices connected to this router. It is as though the router stops responding. It appears as though you are connected but you cannot connect to anything. If you click on repair connection, the problem goes away. Sometimes you will lose the connection competely. Meaning you are no longer connected. Does anyone know what might be causing this? thanks,

I don't what causes it but you might try this technique if you completely lose a connection. I've experienced complete loss of wireless connection and found this to work with my D-link DI-524 router. The first time this happened, I assumed the problem was with my notebook PC but later found otherwise.

I open the router admin panel, disable the wireless signal feature, called "radio broadcast", click Apply, which restarts the router (this is done from the admin panel, via a computer connected by cable to the router), enable radio broadcast, restart (click Apply) again, and, voila!, connection is restored.

If this happens frequently and the above technique works, I think you should suspect your router may be failing. You might also visit the router manufacturer and see whether any firmware updates are available for your router.
