Wireless Network software??

I am looking for some free soft ware to replace my trail version of Wireless Network Ignition. I have a netgear wireless adapter. but i dont want to use there software, is there anyother third party software to help me connect to my router??

Windows XP and later has wireless configuration software built in. You could give it a shot and see how you like it.

What operating system do you have?

 

I have xp... where would i find that at?? control panel??

 

If you go to Control Panel, then double click on Network Connections, then right click on your wireless connection and click properties, then click on the Wireless Networks tab, and there should be a checkbox that says "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" check that and click apply.

Well, i dont have a wireless internet connection. it just says internet connection. under properties there are no settings that i can change, and it says that "this connections allows you to connect to the internet through a shared connection on an other computer"

right now i am the only computer on my network...

???

 

Are you sure you have a wireless router?

 

I have both i am positive.
