I have a wireless linksys n router connected to 5 machines 2 pcs 1 linux box a Wii and xbox 360. Currently the only device connected wirelessly is the wii, the other 4 are wired. I would like to add a wireless pci adapter to one of the pc's and perhaps a second one later. I am not sure which to to purchase as the cards are different price points and speed. There is there is the standard g for around $50, the g with speed boot for $70 and the N for around $95 to $100. I do a lot of downloading podcasts and torrents, steaming audio and video. My internet connection is a 10m down 1m up cable connection. Would I really benefit from the more expensive N card? Would using a G card cause a bottle neck for me?
