I have to manually enable my wireless connection "every other" time the computer is turned on.

Operating system is Windows XP. Wireless router and adapter are Linksys.

My internet connection works fine once I go into "Wireless Zero configuration" and start the connection. At the same time I change startup type to "automatic" and then hit apply and OK. The wirelees connection works well for the remainder of the session and will also connect and work well if the computer is turned off and started again, as the wireless connection is recognized with the "very next" time the computer is turned on. However, after that, in subsequent uses, the wireless is not recognized at start-up and I have to manually start up again, and once again change the start up type to "automatic". Again, this is only good for the then current and next time (only) that I use the computer, before the cycle repeats.

I have viewed other posts on this site with wireless start up problems and have also been to http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.html, but have not been able to fix the problem.

    Any suggestions?
    Thank you,
    Michael
