I have a Dell Inspiron 2200 (service tag 1SNVK81) and somehow my wireless card is turned off. How do I go about turning it back on? Thanks

Look for the wireless device listed in the programs to set it up....some have an actual switch on the side of the laptop ....or check control panel for the device and double click it.

Here is a link to a pdf of your user manual ......if you could go to device manager and click on network devices and tell me what it says under wireless device ...that would help.

I have a dell inspiron and all i do to switch wireless on and off is function (located to the right of control button) then F2 at the same time. This should turn wireless on and off.

i have a laptop, i intended to be wireless but im joyfully still connected to the bloody wall!!!! sick of trying to get help for the brainless missinformed deluded idiots at aol. Even if i cant spell to well those people have been brainwashed by aol's bigwigs. My problem is that i was informed i needed a new card bus to make my computor compatible with the wireless Aol run (apparently) which i did and it still doesn't work i was then sent an email on how to correct the problem from Aol in the US which i have been informed this evening that i was again missinformed. I was told to do a load of things which i did then to go to the start up menu and find my listed wireless connection and then enter a 26 diget wep key number. But there is no wireless connection listed, only lan3. is this something i need to do myself? Also how do i do it, rubbish on computors really. Sorry to be such a pain i hope that someone can help.
