Wireless problem.

I am new to this stuff and i just got a new laptop with built in wireless and a d-linke di 524 router. I have everything set up properly ( i think) and it says connected and i can ping any of the other computers on the network but i cant go online. It says signal strength excellent and i just cant figure out what the problem is. BTW i did read the wireless basic config guide and have tried searching on here but no luck so far. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: One more thing, with it hooked up with an ethernet cable it does the same thing! It is a dell inspiron xps if that helps at all.

 

If it does not work with Wire then you have a basic problem that might not be related directly to the Wireless.

Make sure first that it is capable to work correctly with Wire.
